About SophieI met Sophie during Teachers Training at Yoga and Meditation Center. I’m amazed with her discipline and passion about yoga. When she is in front of the group she gives such a detailed explanation of the postures that makes it easy not only to perform, but also to feel. Sophie has a very clear, precise and convincing way to express about benefits of yoga. She is an easy going person, full of energy and optimism. She brings to her classes her joy of life. Her classes are fun and informative. She makes you feel at ease during the class and that is a feeling you can take with you throughout the day.
Sophie is a perfect example of how a real passion can not be stopped by any circumstance. Yana Kazbekova |

Sophie’s journey started in Germany in 1997 when she entered a Yoga class while barely speaking German. She discovered Yoga guided by her heart. Her teacher introduced her also to the principle of Ayurveda: “Know yourself to adjust lifestyle and diet with the seasons.”
In 2004, shortly after moving to the United States, She decided to become a Yoga teacher. She is registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT-500 level. On her journey to learn the yogic principles, Sophie discovered that Ayurveda emphasizes the connection with Mother Earth, whereas Yoga emphasizes the connection with the Divine. From this realization, Sophie included both practices into her life to optimize her health and Well-being. She also gained joy and contentment. She turned toward Vedic healing to combine Ayurveda in her teaching. Through this process, she learned how to support her students and clients according to their personal needs. In addition, Sophie is a certified Wellness Consultant, Laughter Yoga leader, Grief Yoga® Teacher., and mindful leader. Health is physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. These trainings allowed her to create specific support for life's transition for women (menopause, divorce, empty nest). |
